SpartansStandTall

Players who have obtained the platinum trophy of God of War III are linked to the URL: SpartansStandTall. On this page is a simple animation of a torrential rain falling into a body of water. In the upper-right of the screen is a Spartan shield with a circular meter around it that has slowly filled since God of War III's launch (As of April 29, 2010, the meter is about three quarters complete). Much speculation has arisen, both as to what causes the meter to fill (players earning all Trophies or players simply completing the game have been suggested by some) and, more importantly, what exactly the website will reveal, if anything. On this point, the speculation has given rise to a general belief that it will be something pertaining to the future of the God of War franchise and its story, citing the final post-credits scene from God of War III as a connection. As of April 29, 2010, the website now shows a human shaped reflection in the water when the lightning flashes. There is also half of the back of a shadowed head on the left side of the screen much like how the title screens of the God of War games show half of Kratos's face, except Kratos's face is shown on the right, where this is shown on the left.

A possible leaked image posted on a Russian gaming site from E3 2010 reveals a list of games to be shown at E3 2010. On this list includes the title, God of War III: Afterfall. As of right now, it is unconfirmed if this is a real or propped image of what is to be revealed at E3 2010. Speculation believes that if this image is true, God of War III: Afterfall will be DLC for God of War III or an expansion to God of War III. Afterfall could also be what the SpartansStandTall website is leading to.
