double dribble classic basket ball game

GoldenEye for the Nintendo Wii

I'm happy to say that finally finally GoldenEye is coming back nad its coming to the Nintendo Wii it has a release date for november 2010 perfect for the holiday so far it wont be Pierce Brosnan but it will be Daniel Craig the current James Bond.

The Wii game has been developed by Eurocom, fresh after its work on Dead Space Extraction for Electronic Arts and Visceral Games. GoldenEye 007 retains the polished scripted storytelling of Extraction with extremely well acted and animated in-game cutscenes. I was able to experience the single player campaign where the game opens up with Bond meeting up with 006 to infiltrate a Soviet base. Also you can use the classic controller and the classic controller pro along with the wii remote and nunchuk here is a trailer for all non belivers

MORTAL KOMBAT

Finally Mortal Kombat comes back in a bloody way not like the other previous game against the DC universe.
Mortal Kombat is going back to its roots when it first appear to our genrations with violent fights and fatalities, classic characters and stages the plot so far it seems like they are going back in time from the beginning here is what Ed Boom had to say

"we're kind of doing a Back to the Future type of thing, where Raiden is about to be killed by Shao Kahn, and just before he delivers the last blow, he sends a mental message to his earlier self, so the camera rewinds back to Mortal Kombat 1. The Raiden from back then gets a message and he doesn't know what's going on, but he knows something bad's going to happen, and the game spans Mortal Kombat 1, 2 and 3, retelling the story with an enlightened Raiden, and he's changing the course of things, so everything you've seen happen before – Liu Kang winning, the guys turning into cybernetic ninjas, are changed around, so you might see a character become cybernetic who wasn't before, and so you see a different version of events."

the combo sytem is even different this time around it looks like you can come up with your own combo system as well as tag team match just like in the serie of Marvel vs Capcom
There are plenty of small touches that show the team is going the extra yards. For instance, yes there's lots of blood, but this blood actually has a physical presence in the world, spraying onto characters and bloodying them up. It's a small touch, but we like. Characters also take damage, so even if you win, chances are one of your eyes will be popping out of your head or your jaw will be smashed off.

And then there's the internal modeling. Yes, the team have modeled each character's insides for the X-Ray attacks, and the result looks great. Because hey, when Johnny Cage goes to town on an opponent's bathing suit area (an actual move), or Sub Zero reaches into an enemy's chest to freeze then shatter their liver (also an actual move – bless this game), you want their insides to look their best. Here is the first trailer enjoy

Donkey Kong is coming back!!!!

The rumors start flying around this time, just days before Nintendo pops the lid off its hugely secretive line-up at its E3 press conference. One of the wildest, but certainly credible, rumors we’ve just heard in the halls from those in the know: Retro Studios — the Nintendo-funded studio that created Metroid Prime and its two sequels — is now working its magic on a Wii game starring Donkey Kong.

Retro Studios’ last released project was the Wii compilation Metroid Prime Trilogy and the last we spoke with them, the team was deep into its next project. “I think you’ll be very excited when you find out what we’re working on,” the team told us last year without saying another word.

Donkey Kong is certainly a property that’s a far cry from the mature Metroid franchise, but, if the rumors hold true, an attempt at a DK game could certainly stretch the team’s creative muscles. The last Donkey Kong game was the Wii-remake of Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat from Nintendo’s Tokyo team. Other external studios who have taken a crack at Donkey Kong include Rare with Donkey Kong Country and Donkey Kong 64, Namco with Donkey Konga, and Paon with DK King of Swing.

The sequel will refine gameplay elements from the first Force Unleashed, and add more variance with such features as puzzle solving and, at one point, piloting a TIE fighter. Kirby coming to Nintendo Wii

At today's Nintendo E3 Press Conference a new Kirby game was announced. Coming for the Wii this Fall, players will once again jump into the shoes of Nintendo's fattest pink character in Kirby's Epic Yarn.

The game is designed so that Kirby -- and much of the world -- is made out of yarn. Kirby can use the yarn to whip enemies and items, and can apparently transform into things like spaceships. Stay tuned to IGN for a hands-on preview later this week.

Xbox 360 has anew look

At its E3 press conference today, Microsoft announced the brand-new Xbox 360 redesign. Smaller and quieter, the new Xbox 360 comes with built-in WiFi and a 250 GB hard drive. The wait for the new Xbox 360 is short, too. Very short. The new Xbox 360 ships today in North America and will be in retail later this week. The machine costs $299 USD, the same price as the existing 250 GB model. In Australia, it will release on 1st July for $449 AUD and for $499 NZD on 9th July in New Zealand. Michael Jordan to be feature on the next NBA 2K series

The installment for NBA 2K will feature Michael Jordan on the cover as well as a playable character.
Jason Argent, vice president of marketing for 2K Sports, confirmed to CNBC.com that the Charlotte Bobcats owner will appear on the cover of NBA 2K11, which will hit stores on Oct. 5.
“We’ve made a lot of progress over the past 10 years, but we know we have the best NBA video game ever made here,” Argent said. “So we thought to ourselves how can we embody that and there was only one person on that list who we wanted to have and that was Michael Jordan. Actually getting this done is the most ridiculous win of all-time.”
Michael Jordan had this to say
“It’s an honor to be featured on the cover of NBA 2K11,” Jordan said, in a statement. “I have no doubt that NBA 2K11 will be a big hit with gamers and basketball fans alike. I’m looking forward to getting back out on the court, virtually.”
Lord when does this game comes out!!!

Green Lantern: The Animated Series

HeatVisionBlog.com is reporting that Cartoon Network has a Green Lantern animated series in the works. Phil Kent, chairman and CEO of Time Warner's Turner networks unit, revealed a presentation slide for the series, Green Lantern: The Animated Series to a group of investors today.

Very similar to Marvel's animated series model – of having a cartoon debut around the same time as a feature film (Iron Man: Armored Adventures, the upcoming Thor cartoon) – the Green Lantern series will launch after the currently in production Green Lantern film's release.

No Director for the Hobbit movie

Guillermo del Toro’s perfect job directing The Hobbit? Not so perfect, as it turns out. In fact, he’s quit the gig.

“In light of ongoing delays in the setting of a start date for filming The Hobbit, I am faced with the hardest decision of my life,” del Toro said in a statement on The OneRing.net. “After nearly two years of living, breathing and designing a world as rich as Tolkien’s Middle-earth, I must, with great regret, take leave from helming these wonderful pictures.”

While the filmmaker did note he will continue to co-write the screenplays (the J.R.R Tolkien novel is to be adapted into two feature films) with Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh, and Philippa Boyens, any chance of him returning to the project after rights co-owner MGM/UA finds itself a buyer (the studio put itself up for sale back in November 2009) is all but dead.

“I wish the production nothing but the very best of luck and I will be first in line to see the finished product,” added del Toro. “I remain an ally to it and its makers, present and future, and fully support a smooth transition to a new director.”
